Cultural Exchange Program

An invitation for artists who create community-centered, cultural programs.

The Cultural Exchange Program, a community-centered initiative recognizes Syracuse's cultural depth that represents fifty-one spoken languages. ArtHouse Collective invites local creative professionals to curate workshops that share these cultural practices with cultural awareness.

Expectation: Artists will curate 3-6 workshops over the course of 2-4 weeks. Proposal submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis.

ArtHouse Collective support:

• Stipends range from $150 - $400

• Program Promotion

• Administration by current ArtHouse Collective Staff

Interested artists may apply by emailing admin@arthousealliance.org with contact information, biography, resume, proposed program, and dates. Include the following:

• Workshop month(s) (mention significance if applicable): Ex. September

• Workshop session day(s) (use days of the week): Ex. Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays

• Workshop session duration: Ex. 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, or 90 minutes

• Equipment rental needs (if applicable): Ex. Video projector, preferred location like hall, stage, room.

• Desired Participant number: Ex. 20

• Target Participant: Ex. middle school students

• Participant needs (if applicable): Ex. Paper and pens

• Stipend rate (numerical value): Ex. $200

• Expected Outcome: Ex. Participants will gain knowledge of _____.
